So color wise its a homage to Donatello of ninja turtle fame, but also like the idea of this hive carving its way through worlds and galaxies with artistry and precision like the Italian sculptor from which the name originally comes.The plan for my hive fleet is to use exotic real life animals as references with the color purple as the primary seeing as purple is an exotic color as well. I agree with both of you in a way. I think its more to do with how you paint than the scheme itself.The red and blue already contrast strongly, so the most common colors I’ve seen are either peach or purple. If you need the actually colors, I’d say Kislev Flesh + Reikland Fleshshade Genestealer Purple + Drukhari Violet. That's a good point, don't want to make it too noisy with more contrasting colours.
